Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College (STC) founded by VSV Vidyaa Mandir Trust in the year 1997 by the visionaries and philanthropic families - Thiru. P.M.Thyagarajan, Thiru. M.K.Arumugam and Thiru. D.Sivaraman and the legendary continue to the third generation now. STC has twice accredited with NAAC ‘A’ Grade and STC is the 1st in Pollachi Education District with ISO 21001-2018-EOMS Certified, 2nd best among the colleges of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. STC has produced the creamy layers who are now the Alumni and shine across the globe as veterans of the Arts, Science and Management arena. Sports Department is another Forte and represented internationally quite often, very recently Power lifting at Istanbul, Turkey and Volley Ball under 19 at Tehran, Iran. Our wall of Fame has erected thrice with every record breaks and steps into the Silver Jubilee year now. We have gained our ‘Autonomous Status’ to add value in line with the corporate and participate in the Nation Building.
The College has gained its Autonomous status and extended for the third period that enhances the curricula to suit the dynamism of the corporate world and public enterprises indeed. It if affiliated to Bharathiar University and Management Programs are approved by AICTE. STC strives in every direction to outperform its excellence.
